HISTORY:
Christian Women’s Job Corps^®  and Christian Men's Job Corps^®  are ministries of the Woman’s Missionary Union.  Christian Women's Job Corps^SM was born in March  1997.  The first Christian Men's  Job Corps^SM registered in 2004.  

The purpose of Christian Women’s Job Corps^SM and Christian Men’s Job Corps^SM is to provide  a Christian context in which men and women in need are equipped for life and employment; and a missions context in which women help women and men help men. The program is interdenominational and promotes community involvement.

Beauregard Christian Women's Job Corps^®  began in the fall  of   2004.  The ministry was incorporated on August 11, 2004, and became an IRS approved nonprofit in 2005. 

We are supported through donations from churches, grants, individuals and fundraisers.

Computers and printers were donated by businesses and individuals in order to set up a computer lab so that typing and computer skills could be offered.  We began upgrading the computer lab in 2007 from funds received from the North American Baptist Women's Union and the Site Award received from the WMU Foundation.

MISSION STATEMENT: 
The mission of Beauregard Christian Women's Job Corps is to give women in need the opportunity to gain job and life skills to equip them for employment, and to assist in their spiritual and emotional growth. 




STATEMENT OF FAITH:
We believe in the Trinity, God as Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and the Bible as the Word of God. Salvation comes through grace by believing in Jesus Christ as the only begotten Son of God, our Savior and Lord. Once saved, the Holy Spirit indwells, thereby instructing, guiding, and empowering the individual to follow the mandate of Jesus Christ in daily living. 

SITE AWARD: 
In 2007 Beauregard CWJC^SM was one of two sites in the nation to receive the Site Award presented by the WMU Foundation.
